Visiting Reseacher

Visiting Reseacher in IPMS !!

At about 20:30 yesterday night, I noticed that Kolja mailed me "In attached file you will find the letter of approval from IPMS as of Dec. 12, 2008. The original letter I will send by post."

I am very happy to know that I have officially approved as a VR in IPMS starting from Jan. 1st, 2009 under the auspice of Sasha and Kolja as responsible persons.

Soon I will start to ask some persons in NIMS if it is possible for them to accept me as a Guest or Visitor.

I thanked them again for their cooperation and nice assistance. Near future, maybe in June, 2009, I will visit Kyiv after 5 years absence.

December; the end of the year

December; the end of the year

Yesterday, on Nov. 30, 2008, my second brother had a Happy Birthday of 57 years old. I mailed with Photo card to celebrate him in the morning. I went to Tsukuba before noon. Two young Chinese were still there. I duplicated text books of CDs for Christmas and Halloween. I also copied several papers about radiation damage and Mo-Re alloys in journals via internet. I checked samples for TEM sent from prof.YH in OSU last month. On the way to TX station, trees were decolated by a large number of light blue, pink and green LED lamps for welcoming Chiristmas season. It was 10 past 19 o'clock when I returned home.

Today has started December, 2008; the end of the year. We stayed almost all the day, although it was fine like an Indian Summer. Before noon I went out to JP office at Matsugaoka. I got 990 yen(tax excluded) of dividend from NISSAN, where dividend per share is 11 yen in the period between April and September, 2008.

Thanksgiving Day

It became fine and is Thanksgiving Day in Japan, today. Being blessed with good weather, I went out by a 12:37 TX service to Tsukuba. Just after 13:00, I arrived at NIMS, but today was regular inspection for electricity, so we could not use any electricity. In turn, I moved pots from seminar room and took care of plants in a veranda at 5F. I separeted leafs of Sansberia into 5 or 6 flower pots. All the pots were located in the veranda to keep water by rain. Then I had a canned beer (500ml) to congratulate these moving and transportation. After that I moved to Musium and Library in Als Hall. I watched some journals and mailed this message to my blog. Having a some kind of feeling of getting drunk, I wrote this message. That's all from Tsukuba Central Library.

Roppongi, Aoyama and A**** M****** Co. Ltd.

Autumn in 2008

After a long silence I met O****-san, now the general manager of RD Department, A*** M**** Co. Ltd. at his headquater in Hamamatsu-cho this morning. We talked about a production of a new material of MR alloy. Element R is from MSF-Lab and emement M is from his company. I asked him to produce a new material of MR until next spring, because we have nothing about such a process and a know-how. He willingly promissed to realize my plan for our international collaboration with IPMS and RIAR. Therefore I could have a feeling of a happy satisfaction and a good job. In the afternoon, I visited Tokyo Midtown, formerly a location of Self Guard Agency and then newly built National Musium planed by Kurokawa-san, formarly the site of IIS and ISSP. Now I mailed this message from KENPO KAIKAN near Nogisaka-Station, Tokyo Metro Line. I missed my young days about 35 years ago.

Winter season has started !! 11/07「立冬」

It has started winter season and became fine. I spend half a day in NIMS, Tsukuba, which means 11th visit after a long time. Ms.K dropped off me on the way to her business at Moriya station. I took TX at 9:52 and company bus at 10:15 at Tsukuba station. Moving from room 515 may finish next time and my baggages will be safe in the warehouse in 5F. Data of Mo alloys and fatigue test, photos, journals, printings, papers and samples rest there for the time being, I think. I took the last bus to Tsukuba station from NIMS at 18:10. But I lost best train at 18:22, because I was asking maps and pamphlets at Information office. Therefore I called Ms.K that I would arrive Moriya at 18:50 starting Tsukuba at 18:39. I safely came home at 19:00.

Youngest Btother and My Daughter

He came home in the afternoon on the Culture Day holiday from Higashi Kasai, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo. At the Last month he came to Moria, I was given hair cut by him.

At about 15:00, Ms.K returned home for the 2 days absent to Tokyo and Tsukuba. She arranged dinner with Green Curry, Salad and warmed green bean curd, which she bought at Yamaya and Seibu in Tsukuba. He got off at 19:45 with some souvenir(Cake, Yogurt, bugguet, burdock(牛蒡) and bean pasted vegetables) in Moriya obtained by courtesy of her.

Moving since 2.5 years ago

Happy Birthday!!

Congratulation on your memorial day, Oct. 18!!

You have just became a genuine pensioner, a person who retired, and now collects a pension. Someone of pensionable age may also be referred to as an 'old age pensioner' or OAP.

I hope you will always be in a good health and a sound spirit.

See you later.

MSF Laboratory

Investigation and consultation about new frontier science and technology, international cooperation and economic fields.

Customer:
1. Institute for Problems of Materials Science
(IPMS;
http://www.materials.kiev.ua/science/index_eng.html),
National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine.

2. Research Institute of Atomic Reactors
(RIAR;
http://www.niiar.ru/eng/riarsb.htm),
State Scientific Center of Russian Federation, Dimitrovgrad, Russia.

Dealing result:
We executed joint research studies both with IPMS and RIAR. Those projects are continuing until now. Human exchanges between each Institute were done many times and repeatedly. In addition, material irradiation experiment by the nuclear reactor was contracted and executed by RIAR.

Forte:
General materials science.
Not only material fields but also economy, resources, market cultivation and so on are investigated and planned by MSF Laboratory (
http://msflab.blogspot.com/).

Experience:
Excellent results of materials research about refractory metals such as Mo, Re and W, Al alloys and Ti alloys were obtained during a long service for more than 30 years both in National Research Institute for Metals(NRIM) and National Institute for Materials Science(NIMS) in Japan. Superior results have been announced in international journals and at international conferences. A person in charge left to stay at IPMS in Kiev, Ukraine for one year from March, 2003 to March, 2004 by Japan Society for the Promotion of Science(JSPS) and had friendly relations with international cooperation between Japan and Ukraine and achievements on joint research works of materials science. Furthermore, he visited RIAR in Dimitrovgrad, Russia to discuss joint research work of neutron irradiation experiment. In order to utilize those special findings, experience and cooperation, MSF Laboratory (
http://msflab.blogspot.com/) was founded on April, 2006. It aims at investigation and consultation activities concerning new frontier science and technology, international cooperation and economic categories not only on relation with Ukraine and Russia but also in scales of the wide world.
